Linka

The connection of the traditional Czech RAKO brand with prominent Czech designer Maxim Velčovský resulted in the author’s collection of vitrified ceramic wall tiles, called Linka. As regards the design of floor tiles, this is a fully original concept, where a line is the supporting element. A certain adventure of this series goes from the fact that this series consists of an ordinary, yet exceptional detail of the line. This series consists of 3 graphically unique options: a very fine abstract hand drawing in a flat homogeneous appearance, more distinctly overlapping and differently oriented lines, and finally, a very graphically significant decorative pattern, which can be conveniently combined with the remaining designs for a wider range of solutions.

The Linka series consists of vitrified ceramic glazed wall tiles with fully coloured bodies. This series is very suitable for commercial and private spaces too. The possibility of its use in public projects is contributed by smooth, matt surfaces, with slip-resistant values of R10/B, which are pleasant to touch and excellent to clean (ABS surface type).

The basic format of wall tiles 60 x 60 cm is supplemented by the format 20 x 20 cm, and both formats are offered in a design with rectified edges, and can be mutually combined. Within the framework of individual designs, this series offers neutral tones of white, white-grey, grey, black, brown, and brown-black colours, always with the option of choosing a decent or, on the contrary, strong colour style.
